AI Data Centers & Hyperscale Infrastructure

From 800V–400V dual active bridge converters to rack-level CLLC resonant systems, our solutions enable >96% efficiency, reduced thermal bottlenecks, and compact form factors. We specialize in topologies that align with Open Compute Project (OCP) standards, unlocking higher density and reliability for next-generation workloads.

Electric Vehicles & Charging

Our work spans 6.6 kW bidirectional DC-DC converters, 22 kW onboard chargers, and compact traction inverters — all optimized for manufacturability and global compliance (ISO 15118, SAE J1772, ISO 26262). By leveraging SiC and GaN devices, we deliver smaller, faster, and more efficient charging systems.

Renewable Energy & Grid Integration

We engineer SiC-based multi-level inverters, hybrid solar-grid inverters, and MPPT-enabled VFD motor drives that improve efficiency by up to 30%. Our designs comply with IEEE 1547, IEC 61727, and CISPR EMI/EMC standards, enabling utilities and developers to integrate renewables at scale.

Space & Interplanetary Applications

Power electronics are at the heart of aviation, rockets, satellites, and interplanetary travel. At Transphorms, we develop radiation-hardened, lightweight, and high-efficiency converters for spacecraft power distribution, satellite payloads, propulsion systems, and onboard energy storage. Our designs focus on extreme reliability under vacuum, wide temperature swings, and cosmic radiation — the harshest environments where failure is not an option. From solid-state circuit breakers for spacecraft DC buses to bidirectional converters for propulsion and life-support systems, our expertise extends beyond Earth to support the next frontier of human exploration.
